iGuy (Or I must be missing something significant here)

I’m at a loss for words. When I opened the package from Speck Products and pulled out the iGuy, I thought I was going to swallow my tongue and lose my lunch I laughed so hard. After I wiped away the tears of hysteria from my eyes, I took a real hard look at this gender neutral waste of $34.95.

Or maybe I am missing something. An iPod Toy? I thought the iPod was a toy. A really expensive (but well worth it) multi-functional, and stylish toy. Why make it even more toylike?

But I guess for everyone like me in this world, there is a 15 year old Japanese girl who asked for this for her birthday. I say 15 year old Japanese girl because it seems like this is specifically geared for:

A) Teenagers
B) Asian market
C) Girls

I just can’t seem to draw many definite conclusions here. It’s cute…I guess. It’s unique…I think. It’s fun…maybe.

One thing for sure, it’s not worth over $10.

And another thing: doesn’t this picture look like the iGuy is taking care of some business?
